Guitar Tricks was established ten years ago by Jon Broderick, a San Francisco Bay Area guitarist looking for guitar lessons on the internet. Frustrated with the lack of good instruction, he decided to set up Guitar Tricks to help guitarists of all levels.
Guitar Tricks has since developed into a comprehensive online guitar learning site, providing in-depth lessons that take you step-by-step from the fundamentals of playing guitar through to the different techniques and skills required to play various styles of music, according to your individual interests.
Full members can access thousands of video lessons from over 45 instructors covering a wide range of music styles and techniques. The quality of the videos are excellent and relevant supplementary notes, tablature and information, whilst a bit of the brief side, are provided to help you learn. The Jam Station utility provided is a great addition to any guitarists toolbox and allows you to develop your musical skills by playing along with band accompaniment to over 200 tracks.

Guitar Tricks is an excellent online guitar learning program and was just narrowly beaten to the number one spot by JamPlay. It does though receive the Best Value for Money rating and will serve many guitar students exceptionally well.
